O2 look to have won the Apple iPhone contract in the UKSpeculation is rife that o2 mobile phones have beaten off stiff competition from rivals Vodafone to secure rights to sell the eagerly anticipated Apple iPhone. Initial reports suggest that o2 will have the iPhone on the shelves in time for Christmas with the 4GB and 8GB Apple iPhone’s looking to retail at £300 - £399.

This is currently purely speculation but there’s no smoke without fire and several tabloids and news services have reported that a deal has been struck so things are looking good for o2  as they have secured the must have Christmas gift for 2007. I know I’ll be asking Santa nicely for one!!! (more…)
