Vodaphone Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband
Vodafone Mobile Broadband users will now be able to access 3G networks without fully committing to a contract. Vodafone new pay-as-you-go USB modem is only £39 and allows users to access its mobile broadband network without the need of signing a yearly subscription.
The new Vodaphone ‘Top Up and Go’ modem promises to be in direct competition with other non contract offerings from O2 Mobile Broadband, T-Mobile Web n Walk and Orange, and will also offer a free £15 credit giving 1GB of data.
It is capable of speeds of up to 3.6Mbps, whilst the modem will also double up as a 4GB USB memory stick. Vodafone said that unlike other pay-as-you-go services, the 1GB of data will not expire after 30 days. Once the first 1GB of data is used, customers will be able to top up with a £15 voucher or by credit or debit card
