"When I moved to my new house I switched from my old ADSL provider as I was now in a fully cabled area, and after initial issues with installation schedules which were a bit of a pain, we got the 3 for £30 deal installed and it's been pretty smooth sailing(ish) ever since. It's a bit disconsurting for a non-techy as once they have connected your house to the cable network they don't actually set up your computer to connect to the broadband. After a quick panic I worked my way through the info provided and it was reasonably straight forward (I only had to call my son once for help). We've had it for just over a year now and the broadband is great for my needs. The only gripe really is that we no longer get the TV programme Lost as we can't get Sky One anymore. A bit annoying but all in all we're generally content."

"Virgin Media, enticed me with their attractive broadband (2MB) and phone line offer (£15.50 per month for both). The relationship didn’t get off to a good start; the installation date had been agreed, and I booked the morning off work in anticipation. I was angry when Virgin didn't turn up. After contacting them they apologised, arranged another installation date, didn’t charge for said installation and also offered discounted line rental for the first two months. Since then the broadband and phone line has worked perfectly and I have no complaints."
